Jersey Airport places safety as its highest priority. The Safety of both the travelling public and our employees is at the heart of everything we do.

The approach road to the Departure and Arrival Terminals is a busy route, where people and vehicles constantly intersect.

To protect pedestrians, the vehicular speed limit for the entire road from the roundabout airport exit on L'Avenue De La Reine Elizabeth II through the airport (see map) is restricted to a maximum of 20mph (32 km/hr).

The vehicular speed limit for any car park or other areas
within the aerodrome boundary is restricted to a maximum of 5mph (8 km/hr).

The speed limit is both policed and enforced by the Parish of St Peter, Parish Hall, St Peter - + 44 (0)1534 481236  in accordance with the 
Aerodromes (Jersey) Regulations 1965.

The speed limits as defined above are issued as directions under Ministerial Decision MD-E-2009-0177.
